For 30 years, JobWatch has provided vital services that have ensured real access to justice for all Victorian workers. JobWatch is a not-for-profit Employment Rights Community Legal Centre and while JobWatch is based in Victoria, around 55% of calls to the JobWatch Telephone Information Service are referrals from the Federal Government’s national help lines - Fair Work Australia and the Office of the Fair Work Ombudsman. However, JobWatch’s services are still at risk due to a 60% cut in funding from the Victorian State Government. We the undersigned call on the Federal Government to secure the future of JobWatch by providing adequate recurrent funding.
