I petition to have MTV, BET, CMT and the World of Music Acknowledge Janet Jackson as the official "Queen of Pop". After looking at Michael's life and the life he left behind, I feel as though Janet Jackson is the closest mirror image of her brother in performing and superstar status. People have said Madonna and Britney Spears. I think Madonna is close but Janet is it! Sorry but Britney has a long way to go. I have been looking at sites for Michael Jackson and a rip site for him at www.PageFav.com/ripmichaeljackson After looking at Janet's performance on the VMA 2009 there is no question that Janet IS the FEMALE MICHAEL and should therefore be the official "QUEEN OF POP!". Madonna is the queen of something but Janet owns the stage when she performs. I watched Janet's Velvet Rope Tour and if she had shorter hair and was lighter I could swear that it was Michael on stage again. So help me in voting "Janet Jackson for Queen!" Queen of dancing, queen of performing, queen of the stage, the official "Queen of POP!" should be Janet Jackson.
