Since early 2010, Royal Autumn Entertainment has been attempting to finalize a location cost as well as to gain permission to shoot our film, JINX, on Frontier Field, in Rochester, NY. The Managing Director of the Monroe County Sports Commission, who needs to quote us a location cost and give us the final permissions to use the location has failed to reply to any of our inquiries and has not made himself available for any meetings that we have requested. Royal Autumn Entertainment was anticipating gaining permission to film at Frontier Field in early spring of 2010, however we have now had to put a hold on our film because we have no main location to shoot at.
Royal Autumn Entertainment is filing this petition regarding the issue of using Frontier Field, in Rochester, NY, as a shooting location for our baseball film, JINX. This issue directly affects you, extends to Monroe County, and even into other states and countries, in that we cannot create and produce our film in Rochester, our home town, and show the great scenery, locations, and actors that our city has to offer. Because of the actions of the Managing Director of the Monroe County Sports Commission, whom we need permission from to use Frontier Field, Royal Autumn Entertainment has been forced to halt progress on our film project.
Royal Autumn Entertainment therefore requests that the Managing Director of the Monroe County Sports Commission conduct a meeting with us and with our producers to discuss and determine a cost to shoot our film at Frontier Field. If we agree upon a price, have the ability to supply the funds, and confirm mutually agreeable shooting dates, we request that we be able to use Frontier Field and any locations therein that we require to shoot in.
If you support our efforts, please sign the petition...  We will be collecting signatures for several months - the more support we have behind us, the better!  The petition will then be sent to Frontier Field/The Monroe County Sport Commission and, if all goes well, hopefully we will finally have permission to film JINX!
