Everyone makes mistakes everyone says a joke they shouldn't have but it wasn't even about the school this is being taken out of hand and he deserves to be let go

We all make mistakes. I bet everyone has a memory of doing a mistake, and still received mercy afterwards. We are shown mercy, to impart mercy :) Hope hamilton county police lets him go. After reading descriptions about him, I feel like he is doing more good for the community out of prison, than in for 3 years. Hope he gets out!

That's a little excessive since he never even came to campus and nothing even happened.

I am a student at Southern and even though I don't know Jimmy, I fully believe that he does not deserve this. This will haunt him for the rest of his life and he absolutely does not deserve it. Please pray that he is released from this awful fate.

I went to Academy with this guy, jokester yes, criminal NO. Give him his life back.

I have known jimmy now for 8 years. I've taken 10-12 classes with him. I've played with and against him in a countless numbers of sports. He is a good guy and d he doesn't need something like this haunting him for the rest of his life. No matter how wrong he was, or how careless of a mistake he made, it seems that he never ment or wished any harm on anyone!

Please free this man...this s silly and a waste of time and money.

I'm a student at Southern and I believe although many of us were surprised that day by the events, this man does NOT deserve to be jailed or imprisoned.

Release him of his charges!!!

We all make mistakes. This was a big one but not one that deserves ANY jail time.

Drop the trumped up charges.

Please let him free & all charges removed. He made an honest mistake.

I will be incredibly disappointed in SAU if they do not show Jimmy more support. When I heard SAU was in lock down, I assumed it was a REAL threat; not something a young man said out of frustration off site, at a different location. Because let's be real, SAU can be VERY slow and incompetent in certain departments. It's a figure of speech, he could have said "I've done everything except force their hands to do the work" and been getting the same point across. I do believe that he realized right away that his choice of words was inappropriate and he self-corrected right away. My husband and I both attended SAU with Jimmy and support him all the way! I hope you feel support Jimmy and know that many MANY people are praying for you! This situation is making me sick; I am so sorry you are going through this. Stay strong and keep believing God will see you through this. Support to your family and girlfriend as well.
