If you grew up in the 60's & 70's, this man produced the songs that made up the soundtrack of your youth. He is responsible for a solid 10 years of hit albums by the aforementioned bands. Give this man the recognition he deserves.

What a profound influence Jimmy Miller had on my life, first as a musician and later as an engineer. First of all, he produced TWO of my desert island albums, Blind Faith and Let It Bleed, which remains my favorite Stones record. Even before that, while I was finishing high school in Germany 67-69, my band and I lived on a steady diet of Traffic. Such a different sound, then and now! And before I moved to Germany, I saw Spencer Davis Group in the Washington, DC area. I'm A Man absolutely pinned my ears back. Between the Beatles and Jimmy's work, I pretty much knew what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. Later, in the 80's, I was lucky enough to work on Winwood's Back In the High Life for one day, subbing for a sick engineer. Raising the vocal fader on Steve's voice sent shivers down my spine, and remains one of the highlights of my career, largely due to listening to so many of Mr. Miller's productions. I could go on....Spooky Tooth, major influence in college, etc. I can’t express enough how much I respect your Dad as a writer and producer. A big, big impact on my life. He absolutely deserves to be in the HOF. Thanks.
