As a Viet Nam vet, I think that this would be a lasting tribute and an honor long overdue.

Am going out to all our Utah Vietnam Veterans and across the country that I have contact with. As Utah State Council President, Vietnam Veterans of America and as a Marine Vietnam Veteran I will focus on helping make this happen. Please let me know of anything else I can do to assist and let me know when this will happen (Ceremony). Gid Bless and Semper Fi.

My father was a gunner on a helicopter in Vietnam. He made it home. It so sad that so many did not. I think this is a great way to honor him.

I believe it’s very appropriate to name the field after this home town hero.

What a tribute this would be for Jimmy who so selflessly gave his life for our freedom. Let's honor his sacrifice by naming the football field after him.

Vietnam vets never got the recognition they deserved. I served in combat in Iraq and I feel these Vietnam veterans endured so much more.
