My Granddaddy was in the same unit as Jimmy and KIA a month after him. This field would be a beautiful way to honor the sacrifices of many.

HHT 7/17th 1970-1971 Pleiku, Qui Nhon and An Son. Flew security/recovery and Command and Control. Last few months I was an Aero Scout with WO 2 Allen Barklage attached to a Engineering Co. clearing hills.
