In response to the petition to put a Deadpool statue in Regina, we feel that a much more appropriate statue would be Jimmy Falcone of Fugget About It -- a show that promotes the Queen City weekly on TV.... mostly by making fun of it.

The momentum behind Jimmy Falcone is proof that people are tired of the city trying to force a fake superhero cult on us. The powers that be at City Hall need to stop ignoring what the community actually wants and pay attention to this real support.

Dead pool is a flash in the pan (and American) - Tony's got longevity (so does Fugget about it! - which is a Canadian success story).
Jimmy Falcone has done more for Regina and cares more for Regina than some American super hero.

I guarantee Jimmy is the main reason many Americans know of Regina. Mr. Falcone is a good citizen, a good man and a great asset to Regina Tourism. He deserves a statue.
