We, the undersigned, hereby petition the Renton City Council to name a principle street in the Downtown Core after Jimi Hendrix. Recognized as one of the world's greatest guitarist and a native son of our community, Jimi Hendrix should be memorialized through this tribute.

I go to visit and help with cleaning of Jimi and Lucille Hendrix grave sites and get involved with celibrations since 1975. I would be extatic to have a sign in Jimi's honor in Renton

Arguably the most recognized name that ever graced the streets of Renton, time for a well deserved honorarium.
As a Hendrix fan and having spent some time in Renton, I think it would great to honour Jimi in this way

The history of Jimi Hendrix as he moved around Seattle and Renton is fascinating. Jimi started playing a ukelele that his Dad got him around 10 or 12 years old. Across the street from where his grave site is. I was building a townhouse development near that trailer park and had no idea Jimi's early, formative years began right there. He was developing his love of the guitar right in Renton....most appropriate to have Renton recognize him. Chris Koruga
