The Jamestown High School Marching Band is a national class band in New York. That means they are one of the 8 best bands in the entire state. This is a huge accomplishment, and they have worked very hard this summer. This Saturday, they have their annual "Fall Festival of Bands", and they will be judged for the first time. This means they need some more practice to perfect their show so that it is ready in time. They have always practiced Thurdays on Strider Field from 6-9, after the freshman football game. However, people have moved the Freshman game to 6:00, which is preventing the marching band from being able to practice. We want Jamestown Public Schools to move the freshman game back to 4:00, so that one of the best marching bands in New York State can perfect a show they have been working on since June.
