The court has officially reversed the custody order and Jessica is now reunited with her children. I am incredibly grateful to all 205 people who supported this effort throughout a very difficult period. We will remain vigilant to ensure this stability continues for the family.

While she was away, her ex-husband underhandedly had a court order signed giving him temporary custody, saying she had abandoned her children... I along with several other people were with Jessica for the past week in Brazil. As we helped the children that had nothing she would tell us about her kids and how she couldn't wait to get back and see them.
Jessica is an absolutely amazing mom who never deserved this. I can't believe this is even legal. She would never abandon her children and this is not only crazy but evil. She is the most caring mother I know. She was on a mission trip helping out the needy and came home to this terrible news. She deserves to have her children back right now.
I have known Jessisa for 20 years and can say with out a doubt she is a excellent person and mother!!! I have also known her husband Gresham for 15 years and can say he is an excellent person and father as well.
I have know Jessica for ten years plus. She is a loving dedicated mother who has worked hard to provide for her children and has always put their wellbeing first. I cannot imagine her heart break at being separated.
Jessica is a very dedicated mother whose whole world is her children. Having taught gymnastics for 13 years in Yancey County I pick up very quickly on the dynamics of parent/children relationships. Jessica is very devoted to her children and they are very secure and confident as a result.

Jessica is such a wonderful, loving, nourishing mother. This breaks my heart to think her children have been torn from such a loving and stable environment while she was setting a beautiful example to her children and the world by helping those in need.
