Enshrine Jerry Kramer in the Hall of Fame
Our mission is obtain enshrinement into the Pro Football Hall of Fame for Jerry Kramer, offensive guard of the Green Bay Packers. Arguably the best offensive guard in Green Bay Packer history, Kramer was a member of 5 NFL championship teams, including the first two Super Bowls. His accomplishments include: *AP 1st Team All-Pro (1960,62,63,66,67) *AP 2nd Team All-Pro (1968) *NFL 1960's All-Decade Team *NFL 50th Anniversary Team *Super Bowl Silver Anniversary Team *Double duty as placekicker (1962,63,& 68) *Kicked 3 field goals & 1 XP in 1962 NFL title game, a 16-7 win over the NY Giants *Threw most famous block in NFL history, allowing Bart Starr's QB sneak to win the 1967 title game(Ice Bowl) *#1 on NFL Network's Top 10 list of players NOT in the Hall of Fame *Only member of NFL 50th Anniversary NOT in the Hall of Fame *Author of 4 football books, including best-seller "Instant Replay" *Nicknamed "Zipper" by teammates for undergoing 22 surgeries in 11 seasons As a motivational speaker & author, Kramer continues to be an ambassador for football. He founded the Gridiron Greats Fund, a non-profit corporation established to provide financial and social services for retired NFL players who are in dire need. Our petition will be sent to each Senior Selection Committee member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame. It will be delivered by mid-January, 2010.
