We should demonstrate to all young people that this should not be tolerated.

Clarkson should be sacked if he attacked another member of staff the same as any other employee.

Clarkson has taken the show into just boys and their toys, there is nothing left of the programme which informed on cars new and second hand, just Clarkson and co indulging their egos driving fast and expensive cars and performing ridicules tasks, often showing their mechanical incompetence while doing so.. In addition if Clarkson. has in anyway assaulted someone, under health and safety, and the BBC own rules, workplace violence is totally unacceptable, and he should have been suspended, which he was, and if the case is proved he should be dismissed, this is what would happen the rest of us mortals, the days have gone when the hierarchy could beat the minions with total impunity, Clarkson has had numerous warnings regarding his indiscretions, and none have done any good, this should be his nemesis. No other company should employ him, as someone who has committed a violent or abusive act in the workplace is liable to do so again and therefore is a safety risk, and could in some circumstances land the CEO of a company in the courts along with the offender.

Gone too far, anyone else on a final warning would be sacked but the BBC too frightened to sack him,

THE BIGGEST PROBEM IN THIS WORLD IS PEOPLE IN POWER DO NOT LISTEN TO THE PUBLIC. JEREMY CLARKSON SAYS MANY THINGS, AND THE SAYING "THE TRUTH HURTS" IS A CLASSIC EXAMPLE!

For years I have wanted to watch Top Gear but Jeremy Clarkson is such a total prat that I cannot bear to watch it. If he is dropped I can at last watch it.

When both physical and verbal abuse against women and children is currently a huge matter of public concern and with Top Gear having a large audience of young people, Jeremy Clarkson should not be held up as a role model and should be treated as anyone else would be who behaves similarly, in whatever context.
