Jennifer ran on a platform to represent all students but she has only represented a tiny minority of the student population. She abstains from important votes because she is weak. She needs to go and let someone in who stands for all parents and students.

Ms. Franklin needs to go. She was voted in to be a voice for her constituents. By refusing to vote, she not only didn't represent those who put her in office, but she also effectively led VBCPS in not following the law.

I worked for the Republican Party of Virginia Beach to get Mrs. Franklin elected to represent my Republican values on the Virginia Beach School Board. While a resident of Virginia Beach and a taxpayer, I saw Mrs. Franklin stop upholding the values of our Republican creed and platform. Those that use the party structure to become elected owe it to the structure to support its platform and if they cannot or will not, it's needed that they be released from the party - as is indicated in the by-laws.
