She needs to provide a r-e-a-l-l-y feasible explanation for abstaining, if only to those in the district she (supposedly) represents. Rather obvious she didn't want to vote "yes" and apparently thinks abstaining doesn't make her out to be supportive of Northam's policies as well as the radically liberal members who voted "no." Shame on Jessica Franklin.

You ran as a conservative Ms. Franklin and we supported you believing you would stand for the platform you ran on - support of parental rights, standing against transgender and CRT indoctrination of our children and keeping the main subjects of education the focus and not social engineering and “emotional” growth which is a disguise for indoctrination. Since you have not kept your campaign promises, nor listened to your countless constituents on the issues, it’s time for Virginia Beach to vote in another true conservative Board Member who will do what they say they will do.
