A group of parents, community members, and faith leaders have been working very hard to see a school merger happen in Chicago that could reduce segregation in public education. Please sign this petition to express support for the idea of merging Jenner Academy of the Arts and Ogden International School -- two schools that are less than one mile apart in Chicago's Near North community but have vastly different resources and opportunities.

Seeing the difference in these buildings is just wrong. I hope the board actually listens for once and merges them.
My niece goes to jenner and it is just not fair. They need the funding and the opportunities that ogden has.
STOP THE SEGREGATION. This is Chicago not the 1950s. Do the right thing.
This is ridiculous that in 2017 we still have two schools so close with such different levels of support. Merge them already.

Finally someone is doing something about this. My son deserves the same resources as the kids a few blocks away. It is time.
