I feel very frustrated and even deceived as we were told the children would continue in Chinese through high school and we had to fully commit to keeping them in the program. Was there ever really a plan for the children or was it just develop the plan one year at a time without a vision? You wanted bond issues passed for education but what did we get, football? Obviously sports are more important than academics.

Our grandson is part of the Chinese Immersion program. I would encourage the Jenks school board to continue this program.

I would be sad to see this program go. Oklahoma public schools already have a horrible ranking nationally and Jenks SE has been our only saving grace.

China is the fastest growing country in the world. Everyday in top fields we are interacting more and more in support to grow our own country economically. Having these classes available for our children will be instrumental for the future success of our country, our economy and the ability for our children to be competitive in many of the job sectors. Cutting this fund would drastically hurt our countries ability to be competitive in the future.
