There has been growing concern among the undergraduate students of philosophy at the University of Rochester, that Jeffrey Glick, a beloved and excellent instructor, is not in fact a tenure tracked member of the Philosophy Department faculty.  For the past four years, Mr. Glick's career has been in limbo and every year we have nervously anticipated the department's decision to extend his contract for another year.  The situation has proved to be the same this year.  As a result of our concern and fear of losing Mr. Glick as an instructor and an adviser, we would like to urge the Department to extend to him an offer for a tenure track faculty position.  Please show support for our efforts by taking a moment and signing the petition.
