The BoC actions toward Commissioner Gambrill concerning her nomination of Professor JC Bradbury to the Development Authority are disgusting and reflective of pure establishment politics. Is he not qualified? If he is, which I believe he is, then what’s the problem? Not a rubber stamp? Good, already too many of them on that board! Time for some taxpayer representation on it. Tuesday's unprecedented denial of Commissioner Gabrill's appointments is unacceptable.
I support Commissioner Gambrill's appointment of Professor J.C. Bradbury's to the DACC! We are holding you accountable and asking that you vote yes to approve J.C. Bradbury to DACC.

Cobb Citizens deserve to have a conservative, informed voice on the DACC. Commissioners, please vote for J.C. Bradbury.

The Honorable Chairman and Members of the Board of County Commissioners:
I reside in District 2. However, I fully support Commissioner Gambrill’s appointee. Her proposed appointee should be given all due consideration notwithstanding any criticism of stadium. First, it is necessary to listen to voices of dissent. Furthermore, stifling dissent is undemocratic. Second, any criticism was made before his appointment (obviously since he has not yet been appointed). Third, all citizens of this County have the right to speak their minds. College professors typically criticize government policies based on sound research. Finally, if the Commission is going limit appointees to only those person who have never criticized the County Commission, then I doubt you’ll find any informed citizens worthy of appointment to any local Board, Commission or Authority. It is therefore entirely appropriate to appoint a credentialed economics professor from our local (Cobb County’s own) university. Very sincerely and respectfully yours, James Rosich

J.C. Bradbury is a brilliant economist who understands how markets work and the proper role of public policy. He would bring a fresh perspective to the Development Authority. The idea the Commissioner Gambrill's appointment should be blocked is inherently undemocratic and commissioners should be ashamed. Honor Commissioner Gambrill's selection and allow J.C. Bradbury to serve. Thank you.
