Give grown adults the right to do what they feel is right. Don't force masks on someone who does not want one because of a Fraction of a percent of death, IF you get it. The virus is not a major risk to the vast majority of people on campus. Do not let your fear interfere with the rights of others.

Due to the "herding" that has occured between all on-campus students as of Spring 2021, the removal of "open dorm" as well as the placement of the mask policy should not be enforced in tandem.

in the most recent email from JBU they state, “ No requirement. JBU will not require the COVID-19 vaccine at this time because we respect each individual’s right to make their own health decision.” If this is what they actually believe than we would be able to make our own health decisions involving masks. It’s the same concept.

It is absolutely criminal to require students to wear masks this school year. No school or governing body should so blatantly take away the rights of so many people ever again.

We have all had the chance to get vaccinated if we wanted it. Masks should not be required since anyone who is scared enough of Covid has already been vaccinated.

I agree completely with this petition. It is simply a matter of respecting others. The bible says to not eat meat of it causes your neighborhood to stumble so it simply takes a few extra minutes to ask the people you are with what will cause them comfort, and respect them. We don't need to be forced to wear masks. I do believe JBU has done all they need to do for students to be educated and I know many are getting further information outside of JBU to advance their knowledge of the situation.
