To give the arts a place and standing in British historical culture. The cancel culture is destroying our arts. Jeramy is an iconic actor & has dedicated his life & craft to perfecting the Holmes character. Mr Brett should be celebrated & be remembered for this contribution to the arts. Let’s not make this political, but fair, respectful and the obvious right thing to do…👍

If any one actor deserved a BAFTA (if not a knighthood) it was superb Jeremy Brett. He was not only versatile but has become legendary for his dedicated portrayal of Conan-Doyle’s Sherlock Holmes for which he has millions of fans who value his work and dedication to all the many roles he played.🌹

I support this petition, though I'm from a different country, and the webform shows problems with the password. Jeremy is the quintessential Holmes, I can't imagine anyone else in this role. He deserves to be awarded more than anyone else!

Great Jeremy Brett - a very remarkable actor. With his interpretation of Sherlock Holmes he gave us the best Holmes ever, most compelling, enchanting, unforgetable. He made Holmes became alive in a way, no one did ever. Splendid! Elementary! But I can't sign that petition, it does not work... sadly...
