I have been involved with several prison ministries and meet countless numbers of in-mates who become addicted to narcotics because they are so easy to keep getting. This is a serious problem.

YES FINALLY SOMEONE OUT THERE IS DOING SOMTHING ABOUT IT! I TOO WILL BE TRY TO GET HOSPITALS AND THE POLICE TO HOLD THEM WHEN THEY ARE UNDER THE INFLUENCE!! AS ADULTS THESE CHILDREN ARE BEING TOSSED ONTO THE STREET! AS IN A COURT OF LAW THE JUDGE WILL ASK YOU IF YOU ARE UNDER THE INFLUENCE BECAUSE YOU CAN'T MAKE PROPER JUDGEMENT! THEY SHOULD MAKE THIS LAW NATION WIDE FOR HOSPITALS AND POLICE THAT HAVE THE CHANCE TO CHANGE THESE YOUNG OR EVEN OLD PEOPELS LIVES!! MY DAUGHTER HAD A HEROIN ADDICTION FOR TWO YEARS AND ON DEC 3, 2014 SHE WAS PICKED UP BY POLICE BEING UNDER THE INFLUENCE AND THEY SLAPPED HER WITH A FINE AND A COURT DATE AND LET HER GO!!! AND ON DEC 12, 2014 SHE WAS IN THE ER AND SHE WANTED TO GO TO REHAP!! BUT BEING BIPOLAR SHE HAD A MOOD SWING AND THEN WANTED TO LEAVE!! I PLEADED WITH THEM THAT SHE WAS NOT THINKING IN THE RIGHT STATE OF MIND!! BUT HER BEING AN ADULT AGAIN OUT THE DOOR SHE WENT!! WELL SO SAD TO SAY BUT 4 DAYS LATER SHE WAS KILLED IN A FIRE IN AN ABANDONED HOUSE WHERE THEY WOULD GO AND DO THIER DRUGS! SHE WAS SLEEPING AND WOKE UP DURING THE FIRE AND TRIED TO GET DOWN THE STAIRS FROM THE THIRD FLOOR!! THEY FOUND HER GEAD ON THE LANDING BETWEEN THE THIRD AND SECOND FLOOR!! SO AS A MOM THIS DEATH COULD HAVE BEEN PREVENTED IN SO MANY WAYS!! WE NEED TO HELP THESE PEOPLE THEY ARE HUMANS AND IT IS'NT ABOUT MONEY!! THANKS FOR HELPING IN THIS CAUSE, AND FOR HEARING MY STORY!! GOD BLESS!! .

I knew Jaycie personally. She like my son that died in 06, had the best hearts . They were good kids, just misguided by drugs. We have to do whatever we can to stop the access and use of drugs.
