It’s the right thing to do. After all you retired a Jersey for someone who left Mauldin and did not graduate from there.

I'm probably the most prejudiced person to sign this but I believe it would be a fitting tribute to a man who gave everything he could to Mauldin High, his athletes and students and to his friends in the community.

I graduated from Mauldin High School in 1981 and the field needs to be named after JAY LUNCEFORD. He was a fantastic coach and he loved his Mauldin Mavericks team while he coached.
