Hi, my name is Jasmine Zimmerman and I hope to run for 2L President! I am surrendering my 1L Class Representative position in hopes to continue to make an impact for our class this upcoming year. As 1L representative I was able to bring your concerns to administrative faculty and highlight the things that mattered to you most. For example, 1Ls were concerned with the lack of communication between faculty and students regarding the registration process. Now, 1Ls have a specific academic advisor! I was also able to coordinate with the 1L board to plan fun events throughout the semester including a post-midterm destress event, a collab with Run313 (their events just started for the season but this is on the books), and bring your class-specific concerns to the appropriate individuals to keep the channels of communication open.

Working with the 1L board has been an amazing experience and I am excited to progress into this next chapter. Throughout this past year I have been blessed to get to know you all and build a community with such an amazing class. I hope to continue to foster those relationships and hear your concerns to build a better UDM Law
