It is difficult to comprehend a disaster on the scale of that which has befallen Japan. As we watch from afar we see the situation unfolding and the reports of devastating destruction increasing. The scale of the human tragedy in Japan is now becoming apparent. Survivors are grieving and traumatised. Everything they knew has been washed away. Our hearts and our help are going out to them today. The people in Japan have responded heroically and with great fortitude.
