If Mr Briggs behaved in this manner in the work place he would be instantly dismissed. Parliament should hold members to the same high standard that the workplace enforces. He should be sacked not just demoted. And how dare he share photos of the lady. The man is a misogynyst. The sooner he is gone the better.

Sick to death of these antics from our current government. They're all immature, money grubbing, community undermining, wankers! Australians have (hopefully) learnt a very big lesson from having the LNP in power. Those scum are not about making Australia better, they're for wrecking the joint and making sure everyone else, bar themselves, gets screwed over. I think it's a shame that political assassinations are not a thing in Australia and that we are too forgiving of dickhead politicians.

The conduct of Jamie Briggs while traveling overseas as a representative of our government perpetuates the story of the "ugly Australian", the lout who can clear a room in 10 seconds he is so crass and unpleasant. Perhaps he should stick to holidays in Bali as a civilian, and not a person in public life. There nobody will care if he throws up or manhandles a woman.
