This petition is to make sure Paris Hilton goes to jail. Who cares if she is a socialite, model, or singer (a poor one at that) She was drinking and driving, she endangered herself and the lives of others, and look at how many times she\'s already wrecked her car. Nobody is above the law. Especially, if they are endangering lives of other people. This is exactly what Paris Hilton did while drinking and driving. With all the money she has she can afford to call a cab, or even a limo for that matter. Paris neglected that and intentionally endangered herself and others. In the year 2004 there were 42,836 drunk driving related deaths nationwide. What if Paris Hilton had injured or even killed someone Would you still be trying to get her out of jail Paris Hilton has proved she a danger to herself and society even before this incident. She has wrecked at least three times. Now she is endangering others. Paris does not realize the seriousness of what she has done and like everything else is trying to pay her way out of this. Paris deserves to go to jail just like anybody else that drinks and drives. She should be glad she is only going for 45 days. One could only hope there is still some justice in this country and that she will learn from her stint in jail.
