Stop this thuggery. Jacksonville does not belong to the committee. The owner of the land ( white man) gave the land to the people to stay for free.

No more demolition of shacks. They need to stop. We have paid for this stands. We busy with development. Water, sanitation and electricity. The stands they take ppl have invested. Put in money for cleaning the yard. Put fence around. Take out trees and pit toilet. we do it with our own money. I think the money we pay the commit it should have developed the place. Not to take it to their own pockets. Committee doesn't have an office. U pay no receipt, no proof. Sometimes one pays by hand. The amounts we pay are different. Some more some less. At the beginning the stands were R360. Demand grew prices went sky high. Frm R1500 to any amount they feel like charging. I was not told all this rules and regulations when I bought the stand. That u need to erect the within a certain time. And when u don't stay there u need to put someone to look after your shack. One hand we busy with development. On the other end they are demolition the shacks. Eish very confusing and stressing. It's a day light robbery. If not this it's that. The committee says it's Red Ants no court order. How so.? Demolition ppl's shacks. The committee says we shouldn't tell that we paid them money. Hey that looks ,sounds suspicious!!
