David Lee Jackson (50) was sentenced to die for the 1999 stabbing death of Daryl Brown, a convicted New York bank robber, during a fight at the federal prison in Beaumont. At the time, David Lee Jackson was imprisoned for beeing a convicted felon in possession of a firearm. David is on the federal death row in Terre Haute, IN since 2007. A third man involved in the fight, also from Detroit received a life prison term. David Lee Jackson argued in the case that he acted in self-defense. Other inmates testified at Jackson's trial two years ago that Daryl Brown had been theatening to rob and stab David the day of the attack. We don't believe that Mr. Jackson killed Daryl Brown wilful. A video camera outside the cell showed that they running into a cell to come out short time later, while Mr. Jackson had the blood onto he's cloth. What would you are doing when a fight escalates, when the other person wan'ts to kill you? You have just the opportunity to survive or to die. Of course You would fight for your life. HELP US TO SAVE HIS LIFE WITH YOUR SIGNATURE. >Sign up against death penalty< When you are interest, then you are able to contact him. We appreciate every support in words, actions and prayers. Death Row is a very emotional place. I was there to visit him. I found a transformed person who educated himself in prison. He is an Afro-American and worth to become a fair trial for a second change. We are members of Amnesty International and against death penalty. Your signature can help to change something in our world against death penalty. Many inmates sit immocent on death row. Save the human rights. THANK YOU !!! The stories shared in the comments illustrate how deeply many of you feel about the weight of justice and the value of a single life. I am currently working to document these perspectives as I prepare to reach out to the authorities again. This process requires patience but seeing this movement grow provides a profound sense of purpose.

Reaching this new level of support feels like a significant shift in the effort to advocate for justice in this case. It is heartening to see so many people reflecting on the complexities of a life-or-death decision. Your engagement provides a necessary reminder that the humanity of those behind bars remains a vital public concern.
