The students of Jacksboro High School are not satisfied with the amount of lunch time that we have. We are aiming to extend our lunch by 8-16 minutes so that we can have time to eat more slowly. With having a short lunch time we are forced to eat faster, which is unhealthy for our developing bodies. By taking 1-2 minutes out of each class period we could extend our lunch period to a more satisfying amount. By extending our lunch there would be less people that would have to bring their lunch, therefore the cafeteria would have a bigger profit. With saying this the cafeteria would have to make more food to feed all of the students. We are hoping that this wont cause a problem, the cafeteria staff have always supplied us with enough nourishment. Thank you for taking the time out of your day to consider our proposal.
