This was something I looked forward to as long as I could remember, when the day finally came I was STOKED!!! Now, hearing that the class of 2020 won’t be able to leave their mark like we all got to do breaks my heart.

Homecoming King 1999 This is one of the greatest traditions in Quincy High history, and a highlight of homecoming week. This was always one of the things that made our school stand out from others, and students from other towns were envious of it. This is what being a Jackrabbit is about.

I remember painting my name on the roadway like it was yesterday. It was Halloween 1987, rather than wearing the traditional green and gold, we were dressed as vampires, witches, punks, clowns, and the like. I still enjoy driving past the spray painted names each year.

Don't take that tradition away. It's a big deal and a part of what makes being a senior in Quincy a life time memory. It's part of our little town.
