This is long overdue. Let's give these teams a chance to qualify for the NCAA tournament. This would allow consistency with other Ivy League sports and other field hockey D1 teams.

The lack of an ivy league tournament divides the ivy league play from other divisions. If we hope to compete in the NCAA we need a tournament. Further, as a women's sport having a tournament will help generate enthusiasm for fans, players, coaches, and alumni and even the disparity between men's and women's programs.
