This petition is show the amount of support for the inclusion of subtitles for repeats of the classic TV show MINDER on ITV, currently showing on ITV4. The petition is intended to demonstrate to ITV that subtitles allow everyone to enjoy Minder, not just those privileged enough to full hearing ability, but those that don't as well. Subtitling.com states that "Same-language subtitles are generally provided as an in-country service for the benefit of viewers who are hearing impaired. It is now common for governments or regulatory authorities to legislate that this type of subtitling is provided." We, the undersigned would like programme and scheduling exectives at ITV to go that extra step and include subtitles for MINDER and other classic shows being shown on ITV4, particularly as we know the series has appeared with subtitles in the past.
