Doc Martin has become a British institution, and if it has to end, end it well. Bring it back for one more series, or a special to finish off the story and say goodbye to the Port Wenn community - or just keep going for a few more years!!

I am hoping that they will continue to make more series of doc martin,its brilliantly made and so funny,and also has a serious side to it aswell.

The petition pretty much says it all to be honest
In my opinion its by far the best programme shown on tv and because of this programme ive visited Port Issac various times, got to be a good thing for the area. Martin Clunes is brilliant as are all the actors and actresses we've come to know and love.....if you don't continue making it im not paying my tv licence

It's got more followers now than in the earlier days. Popularity even spreading down under. ITV would be very foolish to their ratings to let this show go. Please ITV Contract more episodes.

Like my husband I too wish the series to continue as we both like watching it as do a lot of people worldwide and it is a great programme to watch in this day and age and so great actors and actresses in the programme

I honestly don't know why you would ever end this show. It has comedy, it has a picturesque location, I can watch it with my children. Why would you want to pull something with such QUALITY off the air? Doesn't make sense to me.
