ITV and Buffalo Productions confirmed today that the production will resume. We are currently reviewing the official statement regarding their long-term scheduling requirements. I will provide a status report on the release timeline once the network shares internal production memos.

This last series, Season 9, of Doc Martin is rumoured to possibly be the final one.
The show is loved and enjoyed by millions world wide and all its fans call on ITV and Buffalo Productions to continue making more episodes and seasons of the programme.
The show is loved for its superb acting and wonderful scenery and contains stories of laughter, love, fun, drama and serious medical issues. In a time when current television scheduling contains violence, rudeness, profanity and sexual content, Doc Martin is a shining example of good old fashioned entertainment.

Dear ITV, You have created one of the best series in the history of television. Please, consider a 10th series, if at least, to wrap it up. Of course, I would love to see Doc Martin continue on much in the way Midsommer's Murders has carried on.
Please keep Doc Martin coming back! I live in the U.S. and not only is this the best show around it's helping me maintain my sanity! We need the gentleness and humor of this show and its cast of characters. (My favorites are Ruth and the Doc)
My favourite programme ever you cant leave it as it stands need to finish off louisa pregnant, doc resigned, litter of puppies. Cant see accepting docs resignation everyone would want such a knowledgable doctor as him. Please make more series make our day

Season 9 ended on an absolute cliff-hanger. You can’t leave the fans hanging!! There are SO many new directions the writers and producers can take this show now, based on the events that happened in the final episode. We want more DOC!!

"Doc Martin" is without doubt the best series on TV and proves that the best shows do not need violence, killing, rudeness, profanity or swearing in order to be enjoyed by millions all over the world. Please, ITV, do commission some more series!!
