I among thousands of others have been waiting for series 3 of Homefires. Itv have given no plausible reason for axing it. There are so many storylines to resolve. I dont want to read about it as much as i love reading. Please Itv reconsider. Wartime dramas always have huge ratings.

Your show was just making headway State side...Our current President is a baffoon, and incapable of appreciating WW2, for all those that fealt the depth of that terrible war's reality. Please keep a television show, capturing the strength of women, community, mothers, and our allies going. We need this!

A terrible, completely idiotic decision to cancel this beautifully produced series on a shocking cliffhanger. And WHY when Series 3 was actually written and fans are avid, adoring this show! It's like ITV doesn't care about great storytelling or about us fans either!

My mother and I were very disappointed to find the series had been axed. These were my mothers childhood years, and I get to see something of what life was like in those times, and what people went through.
