Absolutely gutted. We are only up to 1940 and there's so much scope to carry on this excellent series. Please reconsider ITV.

I'm so fed up with you constantly opting for quantity over quality!!! Home Fires is a quality drama and along with The Durrells is the only show I ever watch on ITV these days. Once upon a time you used to actually care about your viewers & less about numbers etc. Ending the series in this way is terrible & hugely unfair to those of us who have enjoyed it.

This is the best drama series that has been on tv in a long time. It's brought together the history of both the war and the WI and women's lives. Fabulous writing and you'd be foolish to not put this on tv. Buy putting junk on like BGT and the Xfactor it's crap. Give us the emotion that this has and the education it gives.

The idiots of itv have no idea what the basic woman wants to watch on a Sunday evening . Home fires is the answer, basically the only decent tv being shown on itv and the cancel it?!?!?? Why for? No one knows but certainly not for any logical reason. Complete idiots

Please don't cancel home fires . We have so much rubbish on tv - reality shows that have had their day !!! Big time !!! Other 'waste of time' shows - drivers over 90 or whatever it was, who cares . You don't learn things from that. This was an interesting programme showing people how the war was at home. A nice show. I don't want to see rude disgusting shows like Keith Lemon. Gutter shows.
This was a great series.

After watching both series of Hime Fires,I was looking to the follow up of series 3 ,and am bitterly dissapointed that you have decided not to do this...Please re-think this decision...
