Can't believe your cancelling such a wonderful series no bad language no violence it's a treat on a Sunday the whole family can sit a watch .unbelievable

This is disgusting why screen something they knew the public would jump onboard with then show the second series only to leave us all gagging for the next with the cliffhanger Is this ITV playing with us as the BBC have for years this cannot be allowed to happen ok we pay our TVs licence for BBC and my aren't they everyone's favourite channel cough cough Shame on ITV if they treat the public so shabbily I will be emailing them with my real opinion next

love this series please put series 3 back on cant wait to watch it, and i think its a good history lesson for the young ones to show them the hardship of the last war but also how everyone supported each other.

Cannot understand the madness in axing this brilliant series. I love Sunday evening period dramas. I was already looking forward to series three, so many loose ends. Why?

Best series since Downton Abbey.
What are ITV thinking of to axe it, when they can only offer constant repeats, cops and murders and "me-to's" on the soaps.

I was commending ITV only yesterday for absolutely trumping the beeb for producing high quality decent dramas and ones which don't centre around murder, crime or other generally depressing issues. Home Fires was the highlight of the week along with the Durrells and provided light relief from the incessant crud and depressing viewing usually on and now you're dropping it? Why??? Don't you know when you're finally doing a good job? you then ruin it.. no doubt to pitch yet another tedious 'reality garbage' or 'audience participation game show'.. GOOD GRIEF!! Give us all a break!! BRING BACK HOME FIRES!!! It's your new Downton!! have you not clocked that yet????

Lunatics are really running the asylum if bosses go through with cancelling such a popular, were-acted series like Home Fires. Show some sense.

Shame on you ITV. How can you refuse to commission a third series of this excellent and brilliantly acted drama.. Stop wasting money on rubbish programmes and bring back Home Fires for another series. You obviously haven't done your research as this petition shows how popular the drama has been.
