Home Fires was brilliant. Leaving it on a cliffhanger and then axing it shows no consideration for viewers. Please bring it back for a third series and wind it up properly. The programme is far superior to most other drama on ITV.

I simply do not understand this decision. "Home Fires" is a brilliantly acted and produced drama. How on earth can ITV justify leaving us with this cliffhanger?

Something whole family can watch together on a Sunday night and younger generation can learn what life was like we wacth it then a family discussion about it so much better than a lot of the rubbish you put on over the week end please keep it bring it back

A finely acted drama with superb actors. Dealt with difficult issues in a sensitive manner, exposing the realities of daily experiences of the time.
We must know how these characters develop.

I was very upset to hear that Home Fires had been cancelled,a well written and well acted drama,it gave you a sense of what life was like in that era.So enjoyable.

Why stop a well written series with a substantial number of viewers? I will think twice before watching any futures ITV series if there is a risk they will be axed with lots of loose ends.

I am so over broadcasting companies axing TV shows that have been proven to be successful, because of their own selfishness. I thought that these companies were providing a service to entertain people however as one of these people who is/was entertained by their program Home Fires, I do not seem to matter to this company. If that is how this company, ITV chooses to conduct itself their is no point for me to start watching another TV series of theirs. As it does not matter if it is successful or not they will just do as they please and not even consider thier audience whatsoever. This is just not good enough ITV, renew the show for a third season so I can renew my faith in you.
