This programme was too good to leave it on that cliffhanger at end of series 2 Please reconsider and return with a new series to tidy it all up

I love these sort of programmes. I'm sure I'm not the only one who gets a feel good, relaxed Sunday night tv feeling from them. They are also damb good story lines. Something you can really get your teeth into. Wonderful. Please bring it back and if it has to stop, please end it properly. Example, at the end of the war.

Please keep it. Life cannot go on if we do not find out what happens!

I love homefire and I have been waiting for season 3 didn't even know till today it's been axed.... you can't leave it like that..... we want our programme back on air what are you thinking so many people watch and love that show..... just bring it back.

Just read halcyon hotel has been axed. What a shame after you just start getting to know the characters! Same thing with home fires. Loved that series and then when your really getting into it, its axed. I'm going to stop watching ITV series as they keep doing this!

Don't understand why this isn't coming back for series 3. It's and amazing programme that appeals to all ages. If I'd have know that it would be left how it was, I wouldn't have bothered watching any of them.

Just binged watched 2 series of Home Fires on Netflix. An excellent drama with Interesting, honest and intelligent storylines. I was so chuffed to get to see it - so many of my friends recommended it last year and I missed it the first time round. It has been SO refreshing to see for once (and let's face it, it has been a long time coming) a drama led by such a large, strong, female versatile cast. It is rare these days to be able to witness acting of this calibre. The characters are fleshed out and real. It is a true ensemble piece which and allows experienced , talented female actors to well and truly flex their acting muscles and portray real women. And thank goodness for once I didn't feel patronised and could actually relate to the female characters and their lives. It is well written, directed and superbly acted. Genious casting. So why undermine a (for once) grateful audience and axe it? Please respect the integrity and intelligence of your audience. Give us a third series.

Why cancel ugh an excellent programme

I wish to see both season 2 and 3

So many bad shows on TV & you cancel something great like Home Fires !!

Brilliant, both series one and two. My wife and I were waiting for series 3 to start!!!! Why cancel something so popular?
