It's roughly a half a dozen apps that are duck taped together. The furthest thing from intuitive. Jobs would have fired half of the company by now.

I really liked Apple Music. I only listen from my desktop, though. I'd subscribe in a heartbeat, except for iTunes. Fix iTunes and you'll have at least one more subscriber.

Used iTunes since the beginning but it has been getting more of a mess with each new release for a good while now. Time to kill it & start over with software to do a couple of things well rather than lots of things badly!

There seems to be very little (if anything) about iTunes that is intuitive.

iTunes is an embarrassment for the company that used to set standards for usability. Next step should be a petition to make iOS usable (i.e., add affordances, discoverability, context-sensitive help).

Separate "iTunes" into the various things it's supposed to do and then you can make each function better. Maybe go get that copy of "Apple Human Interface Guidelines", 1986 edition.

Yes. Please fix iTunes. It's gotten so hard to find anything. And Playlist View is NOT a good substitute for the old side bar.

Apple refuses to let me use iTunes with iOS 9 without me upgrading from my beloved perfectly stable Snow Leopard. Sneaky forced obsolescence.

I'm not sure if iMovie should join it as well.

I'm finding with every OS (or iTunes) update iTunes gets messier and messier. Sometimes I can't even play what I want to hear because iTunes can't find the file. Using the find missing files feature doesn't find them all and often lands me up with duplicates. Not to mention that you might as well not have cover art any more; you can't read it now. I even thought of dumping my iTunes library and starting again, but it would mean months of work. And another update (whether OS or iTunes) would probably mess it all up again. Come on, Apple! Ive used a Mac since 1 May 1986 and never used to have this sort of trouble.

Indeed, Apple's slide into unnecessary complication, lack of consistency in user interface and design with the past -- integrating new features with old, and lack of sound innovation (just feature bloat) is an embarrassment to Human Interface Design Guidelines. Not just in iTunes, but this may be the most appropriate target for a tune and petition. Thanks Bob.

Over the years I have spent hundreds of hours downloading hundreds of CDs into my iTunes library, then correcting the mischaracterization and misfiling of the music (not "songs", my music is mostly classical). My iTunes database has gotten progressively and spontaneously corrupted. Most of my album artwork is gone. Many albums are missing. Single albums have spontaneously split into multiple albums (I have one album which iTunes has split into a separate album for each track on the original album; then it has lost several of those). I face the prospect of deleting my entire iTunes library and starting over.

Apple, please employee actual designers rather than interns to develop iTunes.

The least I can say is...it is "un- apple".
