On November 2, 2010, the community of Pickerington, Ohio, voted on Issue 3. The students of PLSD could not effect the outcome of this levy. In short, without the levy passing, the PLSD would have to make budget cuts up to 9 Million dollars. The children would not have Physical Education, Art, Musical Education, or any other nonacademic class. The high schools we lose ALL AP and Honors courses, and the Music and Art department will take a tremendous hit. The levy failed with 49.4% FOR, 50.4% AGAINST. The students of PLSD demand a recount.
