government stole my identity made choices on my behalf and tore me from my birth family i will not stand here today and condone further adoptions

First time I've read about this. I'm not sure how I feel about it all. It is a good idea though,, just not sure it's for me, I feel lost with both.. I call both my mums.. mum... And neither of them care about me. My adoptive one never cared so I found my biological mum and she says she doesn't want to know me. Yet I feel the blood connection so am glad I met her a few times and easy to call her mum, which is strange as I don't know her.

An adopted person should not have to beg to know where they come from. We are not "mistakes".

It's a basic right for a person to be able to list their birth mother on their birth certificate and vise vera.

People do not understand the true effect on adoptees. More concerning! They don't care. Therein lies the problem. Don't even bother arguing. your argument is redundant unless you are willing to listen to the people affected and are willing to make the change.

I discovered I was adopted when I was 43. My entire life was a lie. I have no connection to my adopted or biological family I am alone. I have 2 brothers ( we are triplets) who do not know of my existence so they are not looking and I have little information to find them. Adoption messes with innocents lives, it’s never about the child but the needs of adults.
