Most students rotations have been canceled indefinitely and others, like myself, are taking it day by day keeping their fingers crossed. It isn’t fair that other accrediting bodies are releasing statements and giving guidance but PA students are left in the dark. Clinical hours are very important but so is taking students that may be placed in financial hardships by delaying graduation into consideration. This is a time of crisis and therefore alternatives should be considered

These students have worked to hard over the last 22 months of their lives in hopes of graduating and contributing to the medical industry to have a reasonable path forward.

This should be common sense. The precedent has been set by the medical students' programs, why would the PA programs be different?

Allow PA students who have completed most of their rotations to graduate and be credentialed.

Please let us take our NCCPA board exam so we can become licensed and become part of the medical workforce in these times of need.

Now is not the time to be delaying healthcare workers from entering the system.

The sooner that PA students graduate the more providers will be available to support the healthcare system

The time to act is now!! Our daughter is an about to graduate PA student. She has taken on large debt, dedicated countless hours towards her drive to be a PA. She has a job lined up at a healthcare system where she has spent a rotation. By all accounts, there will be a drastic need for healthcare providers to face the challenges brought on by this pandemic.

Students so close to graduating should be able to finish. Their skills are needed by the medical community at this time of the COVID-19 crisis.

As healthcare changes, even despite the recent onset of COVID-19, people are retiring, and costs are out of control. This country NEEDS a strong continued enforcement to the medical field. These students are that enforcement. Please do what is needed to keep current students on track to finish their programs and move their careers forward.

As a PA student on track to graduate in a matter of weeks, I am shocked at the stance the ARC-PA is taking during this pandemic. We have proven ourselves over the past 2 years and the years prior to school while working in healthcare as paramedics/EMTs/techs/nurses. We are a wasted resource that the American public desperately needs during this crisis. Please reconsider your current stance and find alternative learning experiences that would allow us to graduate on time and subsequently contribute meaningfully to our communities.

I do not believe that in the grand scheme is our rigorous PA education that approximately 4-5 weeks of one single rotation should hinder graduation. There must be another way to adapt during this crisis.
