I personally think funding safety measures in school is much more important than our County Commissioners funding a lawsuit against Opioid manufacturers. We need to get our priorities straight.

Plans need to be made! Children shouldn’t be afraid to go to school. Plans and active shooter drills should be as common place as fire drills.

I recommend a Saturday that the parents come sit in the class rooms and the Alamance County Sheriffs department runs a drill on the school to train the staff on how to handle these type situations. What is in the past is in the past, we need to focus on a solid safety plan going forward with the cooperation of the Adminsitration, Staff,Parents and the Athorities. We are all on edge and need to know that everyone is prepared for the worst possible situation. We have an unbeleivable group of parents at CGS Money can be raised if needed.

Absolutely this needs to happen!!! AND the administration needs to hold a meeting with the kids of the school especially the middle and hogh school kids they deserve to know what is happening and what is being done! By not hearing it from thw school administrators they are hearing rumors from other kids and not necessarily the correct information! The threats were made against them so they deserve to know the facts too!!!

This is an AMAZING idea, this would help put us parents at ease every morning before dropping our kids off at school! Anything and everything we can do to ensure our kids safety, we will do it!
