We the undersigned believe that by next week the Senate Republicans should schedule a vote on the confirmation of Judge Brett Kavanaugh. The Judiciary Committee has bent over backwards to accommodate Dr. Ford so that her accusation could be heard, and have accepted delay after delay so that more investigation could be done.

This should satisfy the concerns of those Senators who have been undecided about their vote. Every reasonable step has been taken to arrive at the truth.

But there has to be a point of closure. The Democrats cannot be allowed to play the obvious game of constantly moving the goal post and trying to interminably delay the confirmation process. It is time to vote.
