I have lived in this community since 1965 and love nothing more than to hear Navy jets overhead. I know any one of them would lay down their life to defend us. We owe them the same amount of respect and support.

We live directly under a daily flight pattern. This was something we knew when we purchased our home. (a plane is passing over as I type this) I fully support NASWI and the OLF. Let 'em Bounce!!

It's not that fact that our county would be devastated economically if the base left, it's what our sailors and their families bring to the community. They help us understand commitment to country through their service as military members and community volunteers. They infuse our isolated community with their diverse backgrounds and national and global experiences. We love our sailors!
