Please keep this base not only for the local community but as another option to keep Navy members on the West Coast.

Canadian personnel use NAS Whidby Island for training purposes and serve exchange tours there at the listening post. Besides, it provides an opportunity to enjoy the sound of Freedom, and to see various types in the air and on the ground.

I am showing my support because I cannot be in DC. My father served in the navy at NAS. I grew up enjoying the sound of freedom. I support anything that is needed for the men and women of NAS and their families. Godspeed

Our military is ready to put their life on the line at a moments notice and the least we can do, as a community, is make sure they have the best training that is available to them. My family and I live in the direct path of the approach to OLF and we have just learned to adjust to the noise. We are proud supporters of our Navy.

NAS Whidbey Island is needed to train our Naval Aviators to protect the interests of the United States. Any closures or restriction will impact the safety and readiness of our war fighters.
