The Navy provides great benefit to our community with a vibrant influx of young families and a large component of retirees and veterans, which provide a diverse group of folks that build our local economy and volunteer in supporting youth and community programs.
Our island has been a strong supporter of the navy for many years, despite what a small minority may seem to display.

As an Oak Harbor resident I fully support NAS Whidbey Island. Further, I have no concerns whatsoever toward carrier landing practices being held at either OLF Coupeville or Ault Field. Let's allow the welcomed and needed training to continue!

The Operations are needed to support OLF Coupeville so that pilots can do FLCP. Landing on an aircraft carrier is not easy and the pilots need to keep their skills up to date.
