F.R.U.A is an organization which is dedicated to healing communities from the ill effects of gentrification and other forms of anti-humane tactics which are aimed against the poor. Our focus at this time is in the area of Far Rockaway Queens, New York City along Beach Channel Drive where the ill effects of deprivation have been induced by an ongoing process of gentrification. The tragic array of circumstances involving suffering is at an all time high particularly for residents of the former Edgemere Housing Projects which is now known as Ocean Bay Apartments. This petition will be delivered to the New York City Housing Authority and it's affiliates which are responsible for correcting these wrongs as well as preventing the forces that are against the residents of Ocean Bay Apartments and its neighboring Housing Projects of Far Rockaway Queens. They are deepest hit by the ill effects of gentrification in Queens New York City. We hope to have enough signatures by June 30th of 2009. Should our demands for justice fall on death ears we will strive to make a case which will be presented to the Supreme Court of the United States of America with charges of Gentrification against all parties which we find are responsible for these human rights violations as specified.
